The Buddha

I’m irrelevant, too. Fully awakened people don’t mind being irrelevant. The Buddha made himself highly relevant by assiduously teaching the dharma, the truth he had realized, to anyone who would listen.

Now, 2,500 years later, great gobs of people teach what the Buddha realized, so that’s not a reliable path to relevance.

We might be very presumptuous and venture to edit the Eight Worldly Dharmas to ten…
