Or, perhaps, Unified Buddhist Field Theory. This idea makes me very happy. I like my philosophical universe to be tidy and I want it to hang together well. If I had to choose awakening, or nirvana, or whatever you want to call it, over reason, I would, but it’s not clear that the two are disjunctive. It would actually make a lot more sense, in a universe that operates according to what we are pleased to call “reason,” for nirvana to be entirely…
