Consciousness is the source of all wisdom.
You have to meditate long enough and consistently enough to get monkey mind very quiet, to turn it off as much as possible. Be mindful of your thoughts and choose not to attach to them. The vast majority of your thoughts just serve to reinforce your sense of self anyway, which you do not want to do.
Think about consciousness, focus on it, make it your default perspective, the point from which you perceive the world.
It will take over. This is awakening.
